Handsome 12 sided Italian inlaid side table from the early 1900's. Walnut circular center design is inlaid with light elm in the depiction of Caesar riding in his horse drawn chariot, whip in hand. Walnut burl surrounds the walnut inlaid with lighter elm in intricate designs of Roman characters, chariots, floral and Roman symbols. Ebony outer band with mahogany apron with lining. The tapered and flared legs of walnut burl are also inlaid with a thin line of banding for design. A most unusual and gorgeous table.Excellent condition.Measures 19 H X 18.5 L X 18.5 D.Item ID: SL3962
