Chinese Qing Dynasty Kangxi Emperor Reign period Douqing Meiping porcelain vase. Thick potted vase, porcelain shaped into a voluptuous form, with a narrow base, wide body, narrow neck, slight emerge ring line, and a small opening rim. All reserved in Douqing celadon underglaze ground base color, the glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. Archaic pattern decorated on the mid main body. Soft ring lines on the shoulder, lower body and the foot base. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the underglaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface.
