A Japanese -style, cloisonne brazier for small fires, with square, four lobe tulip-head, the interior with a teal glaze rising from the bare metal bottom, the exterior with colored flowers upon a diapered teal ground, a ring of openwork bat designs circles above a scalloped drip tray with four elephant heads as feet, flowers hanging between them. H: 15 1/2" (39.3cm) W: 12 11/16" (32.2cm) Condition: in good condition except for a small hole in each corner (2 repaired), bubbling of interior glaze (from heat), discoloration on the exterior (from soot).
