玉佩为白玉圆雕而成，其色纯白如脂，质地莹润无瑕，观之光洁可爱。整器镂空雕琢四条螭龙，螭身瘦长，相互环卷似十字花状，螭首凤目尖耳，造型拙朴写意，颇有古雅风韵。整器虽刀线寥寥，但琢工精炼利落，螭身线条圆润流畅，亦见刻者功力。螭自先秦起就是经典的吉祥纹饰，自元明时期起，此式四螭造型在玉佩中流行起来，并被赋予“四通八达”的吉祥寓意。
