PAT., No. 3948, Regd Design, 853938, Made in England Comprising: a tea pot and a hot water pot, both with hinged lids and pierced handles (to release heat), a twin-handled sugar bowl and a milk jugTotal height stacked 32.5 cm high; hot water pot 12.5 cm high; teapot 21.5 cm wide (4)Note: There is a similar set in the V & A Museum and their collection notes mention that this was designed for Hotel use and could be stored taking up less room than a typical four piece set. They also point out that the tea and water pot lids hinge back completely so that the pots can be drained properly.

Natural wear, some old marks and scratches, some age spots and some blemishes to the undersides of the sugar and tea pots that looks a bit like blisters, but aren't. Some tarnishing and inside of teapot is dark in colour. The stack wobbles a little bit, but overall the set presents well.
