It starts with asagao flowers, morning glories entwining themselves over a small fence and a dragon fly sitting on it. Next is a scene with a crane standingin the water in between grasses and lotus flowers in bright pink. Following is a peony or "botan" also in light pink colour. The next panel is decorated with white small flowers and a bird sittingon a twig. The panel to the right shows mandarin ducks in the water and on the land, followed by a painting of plum flowers powdered with snow. Both the two last panels represent winter.
