A large, highly decorative, Chinese, porcelain wine pot, circular with vertical ribs at the circumference, the neck tall, narrow, & banded, the flared rim capped in silver/ pewter, the spout of waisted double-gourd form, the body painted in a famille verte manner with figures grouped amidst large lush flowers (on on the back of a dragon-horse), the shoulder with panels showing butterflies within a diapered band, floral sprays at the base of the neck, a solitary figure departing a remote home above this. H: 8 5/8" (21.9cm) Condition: In good condition with restoration to the mouth rim( mounted with sliver) Provenance: property removed from 993 Fifth Avenue
