Chinese Qing Dynasty Period Kangxi blue & white landscape brush pot. Porcelain brush pot is sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, with flat base, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to wide opening form rim. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the blue fine color. The Exterior adorned with peace pavilion beside rocky hill, Lishui water, ruyi clouds, and dense tree with various tones, all in mountain landscape. Many mountains in China are sacred, some to Daoist, some to Buddhists and some to both In folk religion each mountain has its own deity associated with it.
