The porcelain potted with a shallow body, of a shallow vessel, broad wide cavetto, with a straight opening lip, raised on a flat round base rim, stacked four, each box emerging Chinese ornament flank the shoulder body create sturdy handles, the very top covered with dome lid and fungus Lingzhi bud. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the cobalt blue fine color. The Exterior adorned with snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a dark brown color dragon squama rounded the bowl to chasing flaming pearl amidst flames. The dome lid decorated with flowers blooms interspersed interlocking foliage and on emerging Lingzhi fungus finial bud on the center dome lid. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons. The porcelain displays a subtle sheen as the light ricochets across the finely glazed exterior.
