Great signed original Meiji era (late 19thC / early 20thC) Japanese patinated bronze scholar statue with separate deer made into a lamp. The scholar has fine details and is clearly signed, I do not see a signature on the deer but I did not take the lamp apart. The scholar stands approx. 14" tall and to the top of his staff 15" and the lamp stands about 28" x 12" wide . The piece is in very good condition with only light wear from e, no breaks or repairs.
