Japanese Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma Kogo with a low relief raised decorative panels, signed by KINKOZAN. The top panel is decorated with a scene of 2 mician women playing biwa and flute and a dancing geisha with a fan, and Mt. Fuji on the backround. The second panel has vario symbolic decorations as well as the rest of the box. The interior of the box depicts detailed flower designs.
