Pair of items including ink drawing signed "Jos Jackson" and labeled "338 Spruce St. Where 'Hail Coluimbia' was written". On the reverse, there is a label reading "The Hopkinson House in Philadelphia". This home is now known as the "Hail Columbia House" and is marked with a plaque placed by the Pennsylvania Historical Society. Also included is a large format photograph mounted to a damaged board of the former "Washington Hotel, Chestnut St. above 7th, North Side, Taken in 1895 or 94". No longer standing, this was located at 709 Chestnut Street Philadelphia. According to the Hopkinson Family History, this property was obtained by William Swaim (1781 - 1846) around the late 1820's.
