Francis Hopkinson signed "Korte Wegwyzer" 1740, to Lucien Murat, Inside the vellum cover is the bookplate of Francis Hopkinson (1737 - 1791). On the following page, we see a beautifully written note - "Jospeh Borden Junior his book Anno Domm 1742" and also a signature of Francis Hopkinson, who married Ann Borden in 1768. Finally, on the rear board written on the vellum is "Lucien Murat at Blackhorse".
