Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, One Share, William S Biddle, "William S. Biddle, a Member of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts is entitled to one Share in the property of the Institution. Transferable in the presence of the President or Treasurer only Witness the seal of the Academy at Philadelphia May 18th 1809." Signed by George Clymer (1739 - 1813), then President of PAFA and a signatory of both the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. This Share No. 3, the image is of the First Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts building, Benjamin Tanner (1775 - 1848) after John James Barralet (1747 - 1815). The recipient, William S.
