Pair of two 19th Century Manuscript workbooks, the first being for mathematics and the second for penmanship. The mathematics notes were written by an Adam Mock and dated 1852, including questions and answers of Simple Interest, Coins and Currencies, Discounts, Equations, Bartering, Profit and Loss, Partnership, Duties, Square Roots, Arithmetical Progression, Permutation, Bricklayers Work, Masons Work, Index and "Prommiscuous Questions". Filled with beautiful penmanship and caligraphy, math tables and calculations. ---- The second manuscript is from a Benjamin Kegerreise and dated 1850, filled with repeated writing samples and a final page for ornate caligraphy practice of "Pennsylvania".
