(3) Framed Civil War Discharges, as referenced in Lot 360, the book "Stony Point Illustrated, and account of the Early Settlements of the Hudson" printed 1888 mentions that the document in lot #360 "the original of which Mr. H.B. McKenzie has in his posession". There are also four framed photostat examples of other documents pertaining to Ebenezer McKenzie (approx 1740 - 1832) and George Washington (1732 - 1799). Of the three original documents, the first belongs to H.B. McKenzie himself, and states he was "Captain Drum-Major of the Company 17th Regiment of National Guard State N.Y. Volunteers....discharged from service 1863 at Yonkers" signed by John P. Jenkins, Lieutenant Coloniel of the Regiment. ---- Also included is the same discharge document, but for another individual dated 1865 and signed by Alanson Merwin Randol who was present at Appomatox. ---- Also included is another appointment document for Ebenezer McKenzie, signed by John Van Ness Yates
