Pair of Tall Chinese Ming Glazed Pottery Figures of Officials. Each figure dressed in long robes and standing on integral hexagonal pedestals, the heads made separately. Coated in thick green and amber glazes that have degraded a little in places and have a silvery iridescence. Traces of cold-painted pigment remain on the bodies as well as the detachable heads. Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), possibly later. Heights 47cm & 48cm.
