MEIZAN; a fine Japanese Meiji period Satsuma wine ewer, the spreading body decorated with two main panels painted with figures and cranes with an allover painted main field using different colour enamels to depict semi precious stones, signed with impressed seal and gold painted seal to base, height 18.5cm. Additional Information Finial of lid has been restored. Minor rubbing to gilding including tiny area at base of spout (see photo), overall very good.
