HANKINZAN; a fine Japanese Meiji period Satsuma bowl of lobed form, the interior decorated with alternating panels of 'Thousand butterflies' and millefiori and centred with female figures in a landscape, the exterior similarly decorated with six panels of figures and floral sprays, painted gold seal to base and presented tomobako, diameter 13.25cm, height 6cm. Additional Information Minor rubbing to gilding but overall very good and fine example.
