A D MOUGIN; a late 19th century French black slate mantel clock of architectural form featuring Classical-style frieze above enamelled chapter ring set with Arabic numerals, flanked by four Corinthian columns and two Classical-style figures, the male representing Apollo with lyre, on stepped base, the movement back plate with stamped manufacturer's mark numbered 242657, 35.5 x 44cm, with pendulum. Additional Information Not tested, no guarantee of working order, numerous chips and nibbles to slate throughout, including some large losses to the upper right and both lower front corners, chaptering with a hairline running through 12 o'clock, some further minor marks, further general wear, abrasions throughout, the frieze with surface corrosion obscuring the image, will need attention.
