A circa 1900 Chinese rosewood cased mantel clock, the white enamel dial set with Roman numerals, engraved scrolling surrounding plate and with twin chain driven fuseé movement bearing Chinese characters to the back plate of movement within a carved frame, height 39cm. Additional Information Light surface wear to the case as one would imagine, but nothing untoward, no guarantee that the movement or any of the parts will be in working order, the movement strikes on a bell and has a simple bob pendulum, no key with this clock, the front and back have vertical sliding covers, the back cover has a very fine split to the woodwork.
