An Imperial Chinese blue and white yuhuchun vase featuring a Daoguang mark and of the period. The vase features a landscape scene with a banana leaf border and vine tracery at the neck; and a lotus border at the foot. Dimensions: 11 1/2 inches tall X 7 inches wide; 29.2 cm tall X 17.8 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Przecha in Southern California, by descent; acquired by Mrs. Przecha's step-father, a military doctor, while stationed in Tianjin during the 1920s. A comparable vase from the Qing Dynasty sold as Lot 256 at Sotheby's Paris on December 11, 2014. A blue and white bamboo and bamboo leaf jade spring bottle is in the collection of the Palace Museum in Beijing (fig. 1).
