Pair of extremely rare Sevres hand painted porcelain and ormolu urns. Features overall cobalt blue base color and gilded floral enamel detailing. One vase has hand painted portrait depictions of three French kings: Louis XIV, XV, XVI and the other has depictions of their three wifes. The verso of each vase depicts the "Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of France with the royal motto: "Montjoie Saint-Denis!"." The pair is further garnished with two seated gilded porcelain males, with serpent feet. Finished with dore bronze rim and acorn motif finial handle. Sits atop ormolu mounted square bases.
