2 sets of Chinese famille rose covered bowls dating from the late-19th century. One set features 2 scholars and an attendant on the lid and a 6-character mark, the bowl features 5 figures in a landscape and a 6-character mark on the bottom, the plate features a landscape scene. The lid of the other set features flowers on the lid with a 4-character mark; the bowl features flowers, a 4-character inscription, and a 4-character mark on the bottom; the plate features flowers and a 4-character inscription. Dimensions: 4 1/4 inches tall X 5 inches wide; 10.8 cm tall X 12.7 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Set with figures- one lid has a chip and a hairline crack, all pieces have some firing defects. Set with flowers- all pieces have some glaze wear and some of them have some rim chips.
