Gold pendant comprising a rectangular plaque decorated with a corded filigree border; four applied spherical studs are placed in each of the inner corners of the filigree borders and a central stud surrounded by an additional filigree cord is placed in the centre of the piece; the plaque is suspended by a round suspension loop. This beautiful piece probably once belonged to a Roman noblewoman. Excellent condition; wearable.Size: L:31mm / W:31mm ; 8g; Provenance: Property of a professional London art expert; obtained from an old British collection formed in the 1980s.
