This exquisite bisque, dog figurine was created and hand-painted in Germany. It was then, most likely exported to England during the early 1900's. With an all-over matte finish, the detailing is extraordinary, on both the dog and the very stylized bridge it is reclining on. It measures a full 3 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide. It is mint condition, which is jt wonderful, considering its age. The very relaxed, almost smiling dog looks to be perhaps a spaniel, or a setter. Either way, it is a fabulo addition to any Victorian period collection, or simply an exquisite decorative piece to grace your home.
