|玉质白色，以深刻、透雕、浅刻等多种工艺雕琢。表面略有瑕斑，瑕斑处烧烤黄色。瑞兽俯卧形，其短颈，长耳，脑后浅雕毛发，凸雕圆润棱脊至尾部。其四肢内收，宽长形尾。瑞兽回首后望，双眼圆睁，高眉圆鼻，口微张，神态不怒而威。|瑞兽形式多样，多以麒麟、辟邪等形象出现，明清瑞兽造型有别于传统而多具有想象力。本件瑞兽造型圆润饱满，姿安静可爱。其形类狮似犬，而较犬更威武，可以驱邪镇恶，带来祥瑞。加之其形制合宜，可置于案头作为镇纸或闲暇把玩，增添灵动生趣。
