A set of 24 charcoal sketches, many dated 1907, some with The Art Students League stamp. Comes with one conte crayon drawing. Elizabeth Cole Turner, member of the Art Students League of New York and later professor of art at the Pratt Institute. Various sketches and studies. Dimensions are: Largest, 24 1/4 inches X 18 5/8 inches; 61.6 cm X 47.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: All with pinholes, scattered edge wear, tears, some with stains and small spots of foxing. Provenance: From an estate in Virginia, descended through the family. Elizabeth Cole Tucker was the sister of Marie Hartmann, wife of violinist Arthur Hartmann.
