A pair of Chinese black-ground porcelain dragon plates dating from the 20th century. Each plate has a green-glazed dragon chasing a flaming pearl on the interior and a pair of green-glazed dragons chasing flaming pearls on the exterior. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom of each plate. Dimensions are: 1 3/8 inches tall X 5 3/4 inches diameter, 3.5 cm X 14.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Small rim chip on both plates. Provenance: From a private New York collection.
