Tray of carved jade with a white serpentine cup, gilt silver top supporting a pierced white jade lid and a carved red agate finial (detached), and an inkwell marked sterling. Although unsigned it is similar to pieces by Edward I. Farmer. Dimensions: 4 inches tall X 6 3/4 inches wide; 10.16 cm tall X 17.14 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Finial loose, chip to the rim of the inkwell bowl with two cracks. Provenance: From a private Pennsylvanian collection.
