A Japanese conical-form bronze vase imitating an archaic Chinese style and dating from the Meiji period. It has two handles and features bands of relief depicting stylized birds and butterflies on linear grounds. There is a 2-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions: 10 5/8 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 27 cm X 16.5 cm. Weight: 2350 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are abrasions to the vase.
