A Japanese bronze Buddha dating from the Meiji period. The bronze statue of Nyorai Buddha is seated in dhyaanasana on a double lotus pedestal with hands in dhyana mudra. Dimensions: 12 inches tall X 7 3/4 inches wide, 30.5 cm X 19.7 cm. Weight: 3650 grams. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is wear to the back of the Buddha on the exterior surface and on the interior of the base. There are dents to the inside base and plug repairs on the back of the base.
