A TIBETAN GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF JAMBHALA Tibet, 20th century. The gilt bronze figure of Jambhala, inlaid with turquoise, coral and lapis lazuli-colored beads, sealed off with a copper plate showing the double dorje on the bottom. The figure is finely cast, seated in lalitasana on top of a lotus pedestal, wearing a detailed robe with opulent earrings, necklace and a five-leaf crown. The buddha is holding a mongoose in his left hand and a magical jewel in his right hand. Condition: Good condition with extensive traces of wear and some verdigris. Provenance: German private collection. Weight: 1720 g Dimensions: Height 22.6 cm
