A LIDDED PORCELAIN JARDINIERE WITH FLORAL DECORATION China, 19th century. The body applied with two handles and decorated in polychrome enamels with various flowers and butterflies, depicting a flower meadow. The wooden lid surmounted by a soapstone knob shaped as a lingzhi. Fitted with a fine wooden stand. Condition: Overall good condition. The porcelain with manufacturing flaws and wear to enamels. The cover with few chips and the knob reglued. Provenance: A noted German private collection, acquired at Nagel Auctions in Stuttgart, Germany on 28.06.2017, lot 1738.
