A PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASE China, late Qing to Republic period (1880-1930). The baluster vase with the sides tapering to the cylindrical neck with pierced handles and a trumpet-shaped mouth, painted in polychrome enamels with a children parade, the neck and bottom decorated with a band of phoenixes in underglaze blue enclosing reserves enameled with flowers and cranes. Accompanied by an associated wood base with zoomorphic feet. Condition: The mouth restored and with few chips as well as an associated hairline. Minor notches and firing flaws. The wood base with few cracks. Provenance: German private collection. Weight: 6728 g Dimensions: Height 63 cm without the base
