A KHMER BRONZE GONG Khmer Empire, Angkor period, 14th-15th century. The circular gong with two perforations for suspension. Overall rich malachite-green patina with earthen encrustations. Condition: Good condition commensurate with age. Minor traces of use and wear, small nicks here and there. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik Istvan Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
