A CAMBODIAN "LIFE OF BUDDHA" PAINTING Cambodia, 1900-1930. Distemper on cloth. The central image depicts Buddha meditating under the Bodhi tree and five monks praying. He is surrounded by oval reserves containing the historic phases of Siddhartha Gautama both before and after his enlightenment. Condition: With wear, soiling, minor creases, and small losses.
