A UNIQUE BATAR BRONZE GODDESS WITH KHAPPAR AND A LOTUS BUD India, 19th-20th century. This goddess is standing on a rectangular shaped base, that is decorated with the moon and sunshine symbol. The garment is extraordinary detailed with linear and diamond shaped patterns. The goddess is holding a khappar (vessel) in its left hand and a lotus bud in its right hand.
