117 x 59 cm Condition Style of Tang Yin (1470-1523), China, ca. 17th ct., Landscape with Pavilion at a Lotus Pond. Hanging scroll, ink and colours on silk, ca. 17th century. Poetic inscription by the artist with signature: "Tang Yin". One seal: "Tang Bohu yin". Three collectors' seals: Shaoxian shending, xiqing(?) jianshang und wu ? houyi. Tang Yin, style name Bohu, is considered one of the Four Great Masters of the Ming dynasty. He was active in Suzhou and was famous for his brilliant landscape paintings in the style of the Song dynasty.
