H. 16 cm Condition A BRONZE FIGURE OF SITATARA, Tibeto-Chinese, 18th ct., seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with her right hand lowered in varadamudra while the left is showing a form of the vitarkamudra and holding the stem of a lotus flowering along her shoulder, another lotus flower is rising from the base, clad in a sari, partly cold-gilded jewellery, her cold-gilded face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into her nose-bridge, urna, smiling lips and her blue coloured hairdo coiffed in a chignon topped with a flaming ratna and secured with a three leaf tiara decorated with a pair of pattras, sealed-Property from an old European private collection-Minor wear, very slightly chipped
