D. 36 cm Condition A LARGE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DISH WITH A CENTRAL MEDALLION OF STYLISED PETALS AND PALMETTES AFTER ISLAMIC TEXTILE ART, China, Kangxi period. These palmettes are familiar from Mamluk, Safavid and Mogul Indian brocades. They can also be seen on Indian 'Bidri' ware, metal objects adorned with silver inlay.
