H. 23,5 cm Condition A BRONZE FIGURE OF HVA SHANG, CHINA, late Ming dynasty, seated in rajalilasana on a shaped pedestal with his right arm resting on his raised right knee and holding the rosary, the left hand grasping a section of the bag on which his elbow is resting, wearing a wide-sleeved mantle draped around his well-fed body, his face displaying a serene expression with slit eyes below arched eyebrows and his head topped with a crown cast with minute figures of Buddha-Property from a South German private collection, assembled between 1970 and 2010-Few very small filled casting imperfections
