35,5x32,5x21 cm Condition A FINE BONE-INLAID TABLE CHEST, China, early Qing dynasty (1644-1911), probably Kangxi era (1662-1911) The two doors hiding a shelve and four drawers. The four sides with inlaid bone decoration on black lacquer: "100 Boys" design, figural scenes and landscapes; inside red lacquer. Fine star-shaped metal mounts-A mother-of-pearl similar inlaid black lacquer stand, dated sixteenth century, is illustrated in Ellsworth, Grindley and Christy, Chinese Furniture: One Hundred Examples from the Mimi and Raymond Hung Collection, no. 44, pp. 128-31, see also Furniture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (I): The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, no. 164, p. 193.
