此尊弥勒菩萨头戴卐形花冠，发髻高束，面容俊美，身姿挺拔。双手当胸结说法印，表明正在传授妙法教;身侧的莲枝上分别奉置法轮、净瓶，垂脚倚坐在须弥座上，足踏仰莲。这种坐姿在《造像量度经》中称为「善跏趺坐」，表示弥勒将降诞人间弘法。此像造型生动优美，背光气势恢宏，制作工艺精良，面庞绘老泥金，法相庄严，品相完好，乃难得的精品佳作。
