此炉为蚰耳炉中中型尺寸者，比例和谐，端庄典雅。炉身便扁宽，平唇，颈略收，腹圆得体，圆足外撇，双耳圆转婉约曲附于炉身，工整对仗，造型简约，线条明快，恢弘霸道。整体造型规整秀美，铜质精纯细腻，包浆亮泽，炉身通身无纹，但线条柔畅酣美，皮色隐含雪花金片，显内敛沈静之韵，铜质细腻纯净，轻叩炉身，金石铿锵，不绝于耳。炉底开框款为“大明宣德年制”三行六字楷书款。书房清供，玩赏雅趣。
