An exquisitely carved Chinese lidded vessel made of ivory, 19th centuryFinely and detailedly carved vessel on three feet shaped in the form of monster's heads and claws, inserted bottom, inside with dragon engraving, on the underside with signature. Body front and back with depictions of dragons between flower branches. Dragon-shaped handles on the sides, each with a movable carrying ring. Lid carved with symbols of luck and laterally with two mascarons with movable carrying rings. On the upper side a pair of sculpted guardian lions.
