A huge Roman appliqué with Satyr's head, 2nd - 3rd centuryAn appliqué with protruding face framed by full wavy hair. Two inwardly curved horns on top. With three holes for fastening. Above the mask a pin led upwards, but broken off at the base. Small hole in the hair at the upper left due to casting defects. Otherwise intact. Beautiful patina. Size 11 cm.
