A Louis XV style ormolu mounted boullework mantel clock, surmounted with a figure of Diana, the dial with enamelled tablet numerals, case with coloured floral boullework decoration, Japy Freres movement, Dimensions height 81cm Condition Report Figure at the top may be a later replacement, the quality of the ormolu is not quite that of the rest of the case, the hands looks particularly crude, main body of the case has numerous small losses to the boullework many of which have been infilled with later colouring, front door opens with a push button looks like at one time it may have had a key, movement is incomplete with a loose countwheel and what may well be an associated brass pendulum.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
