A Victorian ormolu mounted ebonised bracket clock, the shaped lancet case with ormolu foliate mounts and scroll engraved gilt arched dial, eight day movement striking upon a gong, signed on the backplate Dimensions width 30cm depth 22cm height 42cm Condition Report Overall in fair to good condition, the ebonised case with a fair state of polish but a few scattered dents and scratches, ormolu to the front is a little rubbed and showing the bronze beneath, front door is unlocked and no key present, dial looks original, small loss to the ebony at the foot of the dial concealed by the door, lions paw feet a little rubbed, horizontal splits in the timbers to each side, back door unlocked with no key, movement looks in good clean condition, comes with a brass pendulum and a cranked winding key.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
