A Daishō set with Katana Kake, 17th century, Japan, A set of two classic Japanese swords (Daishō set) on a wooden stand (katana kake). The set comprises: a katana, length 71.2 cm, Shinogi zukuri, ihori mune, itame hada. Mumei (unsigned), notare hamon, nakago ending in a Ha agari kurij jiri form, Ubu nakago, 1 mekugi ana, 17th century. Shinto. And a wakizashi, length 48.4 cm, Shinogi zukuri, ihori mune, masame hada. Mumei (unsigned) wilde notare hamon, nakago ending with a Kiri form, suriage, 1 mekugi ana, 17th century, Kanbun period, Shinto. Both swords nicely mounted with Mino-Goto fuchi/kashira and Namban Tsuba. The wakizashi is supplied with Kogai and Kozuka. Includes a Daisho sword stand.
